The governor of Benue state has admitted that the APC is a total failure. Responding to newsmen in Benue state, he narrated his shock about the silence and the role being played by the federal government of Nigeria in the killings going on in Benue state by Fulani Herdsmen.
Governor Ortom who was on ground to monitor the supply of food items to the internal displaced persons in the state responded to questions from the media where he pointed out that the federal government of Nigeria failed to provide security to the people of Benue state even after he had raised an earlier alarm.
The governor expressed shock that the federal government has not arrested the killers of Benue people who are very well known to them. He pointed out that the Fulani Herdsmen are still moving about freely and even more people are being killed while the state government continues to wait for the federal government of Nigeria to enforced the laws of the land and stop the Fulani Herdsmen.
Narrating how painful it was to watch the people of his state die for lack of security shows a complete failure of the APC government of President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to him Benue state does not have land for cattle colonies and it must be clear that cattle colonies are archaic. He insisted that ranching remains the best global practice for rearing cattle and the federal government should embrace it. The federal government must stop talking about cattle colonies in the 21st century.
