eritvnews: If You Create Biafra You Have Restructured Nigeria – Ohanaeze Ndigbo

Ohanaeze Ndigbo have bowed to the Indigenous People of Biafra by submitting that Biafra restoration overrides Ohanaeze’s call for restructuring.

Having observed IPOB resolve to interrupt the Igbo summit, in a way of bowing out, the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo has acknowledged that they cannot function when the Indigenous People of Biafra vowed to disrupt the summit.

In an interview with news men Ohanaeze Ndigbo has reportedly waved the olive branch to the leadership and members of the Indigenous People of Biafra. Following recent public altercations between the two on the propriety of holding a summit on restructuring.

National Publicity Secretary of Ohanaeze, Uche Achi-Okpaga in an interview in the interview said no matter the degree of provocation, the apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation isn’t going to apply force on members of IPOB.

Reacting to the insistence of IPOB that it is Biafra they want and not restructuring, the publicity secretary said it is all about understanding, pointing out that “if you create Biafra, you have restructured Nigeria.”

This proves how arrogant the Ohanaeze president has been, If he saw Biafran restoration as the same thing as restructuring, it must be questionable on why he chose to hang on with restructuring all along. He proved to be insensitive to the demand of the people by not earlier  submitting to preach the good news of Biafran referendum.

It could be noted that IPOB had warned the Ohanaeze group that no amount of military presence or armored tanks can stop IPOB from disrupting the Igbo summit or any political gathering by Ohanaeze except if it was for the Biafran referendum.

However, the Ohanaeze leadership have recently been trying to twist their tongue after a vote of no confidence was passed on its leader, John Nnia Nwodo. 

But instead of facing the charges against him by Ohanaeze Youth, Nnia Nwodo in an attempt of looking for where to hide his shame had turned around to speak about Biafra even when he is aware that Biafran will never forgive him for masterminding the killings of innocent Biafrans when he invited the Nigerian Army to kill innocent Biafrans and tag IPOB terrorist.
