I am pretty sure that over 100 million Nigerians are complaining of Human Right abuses by Dictator Muhammadu Buhari led regime. However, I am not surprised at the statement made by Femi Adesina during an interview granted him by Channels TV, where he said that Nigeria government is not concerned with the minority of Nigerian citizens complaining of Human Right abuses, because this APC administration is known for lies and with chronic liars as government officials. Femi Adesina said that all these complains doesn't worry anybody including the president. Below is his statement:
It doesn’t get anybody worried. The president knows the truth about what is happening in the country, so no need for any worries or agitation
He added that UK, US and EU, should stay clear from how Nigerian Officials runs the government because Nigeria is a sovereign nation. Moreover, he said Nigeria is not answerable to them; therefore, can kill, imprison, incarcerate, disobey court orders, and jail citizens without trial. Below is his statement:

Those countries and entities have issues of their own. Let them deal with their issues. Let Nigeria also deal with her internal issues. We are not answerable to them. If the perception is not right, why do you need to get worried? The perception is not right.
Nigeria is at the verge of total collapse. If these anomalies are not corrected, then Nigerians should prepare for the dismemberment of the country soon

Nigerian Immigration have a new policy which will be implemented by January 2020. With the new policy, all the Fulani in West African and other African countries can come to Nigeria without valid document or VISA.

It is obvious that reasonable people from other African Countries hardly come to Nigeria except those on Jihad mission. This new policy will allow Jihadist to come to Nigeria without anyone accosting them as requested by Kunle and Alhaji leaked Audio message calling for all the Fulanis in Africa to come to Nigeria for Jihad war which is strictly to fight against the Indigenous people and taking over their possessions.

In a twitter message by Fani Kayode, he condemned the immigration policy and referred to it as shameless and an act to woo Jihadist to come into Nigeria. Below is his message:

I think all the indigenous people should speak up and stop the federal government of Nigeria ruled by a known Jihadist President, in the person Muhammadu Buhari, who have show openly that they are in support of Fulani Terrorist Herdsmen killing and raping our women all over Nigeria and Biafra Land.

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) on Friday congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his re-election.
Senator representing Akwa Ibom north-west and former Akwa Ibom governor, Godswill Akpabio, has said he is being criticized by some clergymen in the state since he defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking on ‘Insights on Future Exploration Hotspots: Opportunities for Africa’s Oil & Gas Industry, at the 2019 International Petroleum Week conference in London, Baru urged investors to invest in Nigeria through the opportunities. The projects are specifically in the areas of exploration and production, particularly the frontier oil basins, where the group recently flagged off drilling activity.

Spokesman to Atiku Abubakar, Paul Ibe, has revealed that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would partly rely on an anonymous website containing documents purportedly obtained from internal computers of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to prove his case at the election tribunal.
Why i will never support Buhari – Yakasai
Elder Statesman, Tanko Yakasai was his usual self, frank, blunt and unsparing, during this interview with VINCENT KALU. He  said Atiku Abubakar has done the right thing by challenging the result of the 2019 presidential election in court and gave reasons why he can never support President Muhammadu Buhari.

Kaduna State Governor Nasir el-Rufai, yesterday, visited the Presidential Villa, Abuja where he presented himself to President Muhammadu Buhari to confirm that he is alive and contrary to earlier reports, he was not involved in an accident. El-Rufai also said that he was seeking to arrest  the peddlers of the news that he was involved in a fatal accident, saying if located, the peddlers of the false story  would be made to face criminal charges.

President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday in Abuja assented to Engineers (Registration etc) Amendment Bill, 2019, which among others, bars the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) from posting graduates of engineering to secondary schools to teach.
The bill which has now become the Act of the National Assembly seeks to promote technological development in Nigeria by ensuring that trained engineers were well positioned to deploy the knowledge acquired in their various fields to the development of technology in the country.
Briefing journalists at the State House, Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters, Senator Ita Enang, said as against the tradition of posting a large number of engineering graduates to schools by NYSC, youth corps members who are graduates of engineering must henceforth be posted only to engineering firms and other institutions that are relevant to their professional fields.
Aside prohibiting such firms from rejecting engineering graduates posted to them, the Act mandates NYSC to immediately communicate the name of any institution where an engineering graduate is posted to, for his/her primary assignment, to the Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
Enang cited Section 14 (i and ii) of the Act which provides that “The Directorate of the National Youth Service Corps shall ensure posting of graduate engineers and technologists to places of relevant professional engineering experience.
“Pursuant to the provision of subsection (i), the Directorate of National Youth Service Corps shall communicate the location of graduate engineers and engineering technologists to the Council.’’
Furthermore, the Act prohibits any foreign engineering firm from operating in Nigeria without being duly registered in the country by COREN.
It also mandates such a foreign firm to ensure the introduction of local content into the operations of the company by employing Nigerian engineers.
Enang added: “The Act broadens engineering ‘practitioners to include a registered engineer, engineering technologist, engineering technician and engineering craftsman.’ It emphasises more on engineering practitioners as against ‘engineer.’
“The Act has been remitted in accordance with standard legal procedures. The principal Act establishes the Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria – COREN’ with power vested.
“The amendment now assented to by Mr. President broadens the powers of COREN with far-reaching powers of prosecution of infractions, regulating industrial training of engineers, capacity building of local content in Nigeria engineering industry.
“Specifically, the new law grants COREN powers of: ‘prosecuting any person or firm that contravenes the provisions of this Act in a court of competent jurisdiction; regulating industrial training schemes in engineering practitioners and students; ensuring capacity building and monitoring local content development in the Nigerian engineering industry through – mandatory attachment of Nigerians to expatriate engineers on major projects to understudy them from inception; ensuring that all foreign engineering firms establish their design offices in Nigeria.”
Enang also said the new Act grants “compulsory attestation to all expatriate quota for engineering practitioners, including turnkey project, that there are no qualified and competent Nigerians for the job in question at the time of application and that granting of the expatriate quota shall be contingent on training of such number of persons as may be required for the execution of the job, and; ensuring that, before being allowed to practice in Nigeria, such foreign engineering practitioners granted work permit, register with the council and obtain such licenses as may be required from time to time; investigating engineering failures.’’
He further disclosed that the Act further authorises the admission of some engineering associations into COREN as the umbrella body of all engineers in the country.
Such associations as listed by Enang are: Nigerian Association of Technologists in Engineering, Nigerian Society of Engineering Technicians, and Nigerian Association of Engineering Craftsmen.
According to him, the Act further authorises one person to represent in COREN, the Association for Consulting Engineering in Nigeria, Federation of Construction Industry in Nigeria, Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, and Armed Forces in rotation.
“The Council is now entitled to maintain a fund into which shall be paid money appropriated by the National Assembly, subventions, fees, charges for services rendered or publications made, donations, engineering development levy, among others,” Enang added.

National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Sen. Bola Tinubu, has said his moral authority plays a role in his ability to influence elections.

Tinubu said the other tools that helped him influence elections were his skills as a veteran politician and dedication to campaigning and mobilizing his own party members.

He spoke on Friday in Lagos while responding to an advertorial in the media, alleging that he met with the INEC Chairman to influence the Sokoto State governorship rerun election in favour of the APC, NAN reports.

The new Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, Mr. Suleiman Balarabe, has assured Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi that his Command is “doing everything possible to fish out the perpetrators” behind the killing of a Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Clement Ugwu and the Secretary to the Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area, Dr. Nnamdi Ogueche.

CP Balarabe, who gave the assurance when he paid the governor a courtesy visit at the Government House, Enugu, said that one of the reasons for the visit was to condole with him on the incidents, saying: “My command deeply and sadly condole His Excellency on these unfortunate deaths”.

This came as the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ebere Amaraizu, in a statement made available to the press, disclosed that the perpetrators of the heinous acts were yet-to-be identified contrary to reports in some sections of the media.

The police spokesperson stated that “the investigation is still ongoing to unmask those behind the dastardly acts as well as their motives”, adding that “the command views the report as improper, malicious and inciting as the ongoing police investigation has not revealed those responsible for the unfortunate incidents including their background”.

According to him, “the Enugu State Command of the Nigeria Police Force, working in partnership with sister security agencies and relevant stakeholders is committed towards sustaining peace and security in the state”

On his part, the police chief told Gov. Ugwuanyi that the visit was also to formally introduce himself as “the new Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command” and to congratulate him on his reelection.
Responding, Gov. Ugwuanyi, who welcomed and congratulated the new CP on his “posting to this very important and strategic office”, stated that “following our meeting with security agencies in the state, we are also confident that the command will as usual, do everything necessary to apprehend the hoodlums”, praying that similar incidents do not recur.

Gov. Ugwuanyi noted that his administration in its resolve to ensure security of lives and property of the people as well as the maintenance of peace in every corner of Enugu State, has “always maintained an excellent partnership with the Enugu State Police Command and other security agencies in the state”.

The governor added that “this relationship has largely been responsible for the current status of the state as one of the safest, most peaceful and most secure states in the country”.

While expressing gratitude to the command “for its vital contributions towards the peaceful conduct of the 2019 general election in Enugu State”, Gov. Ugwuanyi reassured the new CP of “the continued support and cooperation of the state government to ensure an even more laudable performance of the command under your watch”.
Laurent drew attention to all HDP elected representatives still in prison, the ongoing arrests, and the obstacles put before the HDP’s electoral campaign.

Laurent said that “political and cultural rights of the Kurds and the peoples of Turkey in struggle for their recognition are suppressed in a systematic manner,” and added that Turkey is undergoing perhaps one of the darkest periods in its history.

PDP candidate Ademola Adeleke

The Election Petitions Tribunal set up for the 2018 governorship election in Osun State has declared Ademola Adeleke winner of the election.
The three-member panel said during its ruling in Abuja Friday afternoon that the rerun election that held on September 27, 2018, was illegal.
The tribunal, therefore, deducted the votes scored by the APC candidate Gboyega Oyetola at the rerun after declaring the rerun illegal.
The tribunal said Mr Adeleke won the election at the first ballot on September 22 and the rerun that INEC devised to reach a final conclusion a week later was illegal.
“The declaration of Oyetola is null and void,” the tribunal ruled in a majority decision with one member dissenting.
“The petitioner (Mr Adeleke) having fulfilled the constitutional requirements and scored the majority lawful vote is declared winner and returned as governor.

“The rerun in the seven cancelled units are hereby declared null and void and of no electoral effect.”
The tribunal ordered the withdrawal of the certificate of return issued to Mr Oyetola and ordered that a new certificate of return be issued to Mr Adeleke.
History
It has been reported how in the first ballot in the Osun governorship election, the PDP candidate won majority votes of 254,698 votes while Mr Oyetola of the APC came a close second with 254,345 votes.
Mr Adeleke’s margin of lead, 354 votes, was lower than the cancelled votes which were 3,498. Hence the re-run in seven polling units.
At the end of the supplementary election, the PDP’s initial victory had been upturned and Mr Oyetola was declared the winner of the poll. At the end of the tally of votes, the APC candidate scored a total of 255,505 votes while the PDP candidate scored a total of 255,023 votes.
However, with the cancellation of the rerun election by the tribunal, the initial result was recognised thus leading the tribunal to declare Mr Adeleke the winner.
Going by precedence, however, Mr Oyetola and the APC are expected to appeal the ruling at the Court of Appeal. Mr Adeleke may also appeal parts of the judgement he is not comfortable with.
While the appeals go on, Mr Oyetola will continue in office as Osun governor.
He is expected to remain in office, irrespective of the ruling of the appeal court, until the Supreme Court decides on the matter.

The petition has nearly one million signatures.

Juan Guaido
CARACAS - Venezuelan intelligence officers Thursday arrested the chief of staff of Juan Guaido, the opposition leader recognized by the U.S. and other countries as interim leader, Guaido and the opposition-ruled congress said on Twitter.

Roberto Marrero was grabbed by SEBIN officers when they staged a pre-dawn raid on his Caracas home, according to Guaido and a recorded voice message by Marrero published on social media.

The United States has repeatedly warned Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s government against arresting Guaido or his aides, and Washington’s Secretary of State Mike Pompeo quickly called for Marrero’s release.

“They have grabbed Roberto Marrero, my chief of staff. He yelled out that they planted two rifles and a grenade,” Guaido tweeted. “The raid happened at around 2:00 am (0600 GMT). We don’t know his whereabouts. He must be released immediately.”

Maduro and Guaido both claim to be the legitimate leader of Venezuela.

Maduro, 56, retains the loyalty of military brass and has control of state apparatus.

Guaido, 35, declared himself interim president on January 23 and has the backing of the U.S. and more than 50 other countries, mostly in Latin America and the US.

“The United States condemns raids by Maduro’s security services and detention of Roberto Marrero, Chief of Staff to Interim President @jguaido. We call for his immediate release. We will hold accountable those involved,” Pompeo said on Twitter.

U.S. President Donald Trump has said, as recently as Tuesday, that “all options” remain on the table in his drive to bring down Maduro, implying military action if he deemed it necessary.

So far, however, the power struggle in Venezuela has become bogged down in an impasse, with Maduro railing daily about the U.S. “imperialists” trying to dislodge him and Guaido touring the country to rally supporters and pledge he’ll be taking over “very soon.”

Maduro’s forces have reinforced obstacles blocking a border bridge linking Venezuela and Colombia to prevent Guaido’s supporters trucking in U.S. aid stockpiled on the other side. Extra shipping containers and concrete blocks have been moved into place on the bridge.

As well as seizing Marrero early Thursday, SEBIN officers raided the next-door home of an opposition lawmaker, Sergio Vergara, the opposition-ruled congress — the National Assembly — tweeted.

Vergara was not arrested. He told reporters that he saw Marrero bundled off into the street.

He said around 15 SEBIN officers “ransacked” his own home for around two hours, while asking where to find Marrero, a lawyer who works in the National Assembly.

“They started to bash on the door of Roberto Marrero’s place, which is a few meters (yards) from my door, until they were able to get inside,” he said.

“The dictatorship is abducting citizens,” he added.

The United States has cautioned Maduro to not lay a finger on Guaido or National Assembly deputies or risk unspecified repercussions.

Trump’s national security adviser John Bolton in January tweeted: “Any violence and intimidation against U.S. diplomatic personnel, Venezuela’s democratic leader, Juan Guaido, or the National Assembly itself would represent a grave assault on the rule of law and will be met with a significant response.”

The United States has since withdrawn all its diplomats from Venezuela.

In just over a month, on April 28, increasingly harsh U.S. sanctions on Venezuela will jump up a critical level with a ban on all oil sales to the United States, Venezuela’s main crude buyer.

The step is expected to worsen already dire economic conditions ravaging Venezuela, a once-wealthy South American nation that has become impoverished under Maduro.A

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar
An opposition presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, claims he won in four of the states that the electoral commission, INEC, declared were won by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Mr Abubakar stated this in his “state to state computation” contained in his electoral petition filed earlier this week.

The states Mr Abubakar is laying claim to are Kogi, Kaduna, Gombe and Niger.

Backstory

On February 27, INEC declared that Mr Buhari won the election in 19 states with a total of 15,191,847 votes to defeat Mr Abubakar, who won the election in 18 states including the FCT. Mr Abubakar polled 11,262,978 votes.

The margin of victory was 3,928,869 votes

Mr Abubakar is challenging the result in court. PREMIUM TIMES On Monday reported how he gathered lawyers at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal in Abuja to prove his case.

In his petition, Mr Abubakar claimed that from the INEC server “state to state computation”, he polled 18,356,732 votes to defeat Mr Buhari whom he said scored 16,741,430 votes with a margin of 1,615,302 votes.

His petition also claims he won 21 states, excluding the results from Rivers State, which he said was not available on INEC’s server as at February 25, when the computation was made.

He claims that Mr Buhari only won the election in 15 states.

Claim, counter-claim

According to the results announced by INEC, the states Mr Buhari won are Bauchi, Borno, Ekiti, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun, Osun, Sokoto, Yobe and Zamfara.

Mr Abubakar won in Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bayelsa, Benue, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo, Enugu, Imo, Ondo, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Taraba and the FCT.

Mr Abubakar now claims he won the electoral tussle in Gombe, Niger, Kogi and Kaduna states.
