Addressing the crowd which was reported to be over 3 million, Nnamdi Kanu said there is nothing like one Nigeria, insisting that Biafra is the reward of the people. The IPOB leader described Biafra as the destiny of the people. He urged his supporters to demand for Biafra now for the benefit of their children and their grand children who have been marginalized by those in Abuja. Kanu also led the crowd in prayers for the divine help to actualize Biafra.
Kanu reiterated his opposition to the November 18 Anambra governorship poll, insisting that no election will be allowed in Biafra land beginning with the Anambra election. He urged the crowd to remain indoors and be non-violent on the day of the coming election.
