In condemnation of the Federal government plans for procurement of arms, Governor Fayose of Ekiti State says he wants part of the $1 billion to fight what he called Hunger Haram.
The governor who noted that there is another terror steering at the faces of the people of his state which has been neglected the by federal government of Nigeria and he believed more people have died of hunger and starvation hence a need for quick intervention.
Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state, openly distanced himself from the earlier proposal of this procurement of arms and he chose to be different from other governors who were dancing to the drum beat by Muhammadu Buhari’s APC government.
Fayose had said Ekiti’s share of the money should be released for the fight against “Hunger Haram”.
Fayose had also argued that the $1 billion was a proposal targeted towards the reelection of Buhari.
