Members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, IMN, protested at Utako area of Abuja, over the continued detention of their leader, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, who was freed by a Nigerian court.
The youths in their thousands besieged the roundabout leading to Utako market, thereby causing gridlock. The youths, who formed a circle at the roundabout, could be heard chanting, government free El-Zakzaky, release our leader.・
DAILY POST correspondent who was at the venue of the protest observed that the youths chanted the song in a very angry manner, while the armed police officers were on standby to kill anyone who they feel won't obey their order.
