While the APC led federal government have continued to make a mockery of their commitment to end the Boko Haram insurgency, the group have continued to engage in establishing their dominance and advance their territories in the North.

This was hours after the Federal Government proposed an amnesty for Boko Haram insurgents, and about 86 persons lost their lives in one incidents in Maiduguri, Borno State, involving the terrorists and the Nigerian Military, with no fewer than 67 others injured.
