In an effort to divert attention, a media publication has been raised through one of Nnia Nwodo’s fellow. The Nigerian media has helped Nnia Nwodo to spread the opinion of one of the right hand men of Nnia Nwodo, Chief Chinedu Arthur-Ugwa. As if his opening represented the opinion of a group.
Instead of Nwodo stepping up to take responsibility for the gross misconduct that he openly displayed as pointed out in the eight points charges labeled against him by Ohanaeze Youth, a fragment of his loyalist came behind to shield him.
In a quick reaction, the so called Coordinator of Ohanaeze in South-South cut in to dismiss the serious issues bothering leadership failures and recklessness of Nnia Nwodo as raised by the Ohanaeze Youth Council.
OYC, had in a statement issued on Monday accused him of mortgaging the interest of Ndigbo.
The OYC’s statement followed its meeting held in Enugu, where it passed a vote of no confidence on Nwodo, who they accused of sidelining other members of the Ohanaeze National Executive Council.
Though in his personal opinion, Chief Chinedu Arthur-Ugwa, Coordinator of Ohanaeze in South-South, described the claim as baseless and false.
He claimed that those parading themselves as national leaders of the youth wing of Ohanaeze were misleading the public.
However, Chinedu Arthur-Ugwu failed to disprove any of the clearly stated accusations against Nnia Nwodo whose activities has been put to a standstill until he clears himself of all the points raised by the Ohaneze Youth Council.
It could be noted that IPOB had already passed a vote of no confidence on Nnia Nwodo and banned him from organizing any event anywhere in Biafra land except on the condition of advancing the push for Biafran Referendum. Following his gross leadership failures and his involvement in bringing the Nigerian Army to massacre innocent Biafrans in Afara Ukwu Umuahia and other parts of Biafra land, which led to the abduction of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his parents who have been missing since the military invasion of their home since September 14th 2017 by the Nigerian Army, Nnia Nwodo must realize how angry Biafrans are and stop parading himself as Ohaneze leader.
