In another deadly attack by the Fulani Herdsmen in Taraba state, a family of four have been wiped despite heavy military presence in the state.
Tragedy struck again in Taraba state on Wednesday as Fulani herdsmen attacked Mbiya village in Takum Local Government Area of the state. A man identified as Sunday Sabo, his wife, and two children were all shot to death by the Herdsmen who attacked them in their home while they were asleep.
According to local residents, the murder of the four by the herdsmen took the community by surprise as the AK-47-wielding Fulani Herdsmen escaped immediately after the attack before the natives could gather themselves.
The herdsmen were said to have invaded the farming community around 1 am on Wednesday when most of the inhabitants were asleep.
